ALMA was started in 1996 by Margaret Galloway and Carmina Casas and houses 34 people at a time. ALMA means soul in Spanish, and that is what ALMA brings to its residents, soul.
ALMA provides residents with shelter, food, medicine and care. Contributing is a wonderful way to give back to your community and to help a worthy and often forgotten cause.
